Based on data released by the government in 2025, Luton rose to have 17 neighbourhoods in the top 10% most deprived in the country. While this is a measure of relative poverty, and destitution in the town is decreasing year-on-year, this still shows the extent of our challenge to achieve our 2040 Vision.
